The AI golf practice coach

Better putting, wherever you practice.

PuttHunter turns your phone into a focused putting partner—then keeps full-swing tempo and repeatability in the same app when you need it.

  • Indoor + outdoor practice
  • Guided putting sessions
  • Swing Lab included
  • Built around your phone

Practice with intention

Stop rolling random putts.

PuttHunter is designed to help you make every practice ball answer a useful question: did you start it where you intended, control the distance, and repeat the motion?

01

See the roll

Capture a putting session and review the ball’s path with feedback that is being tested for real practice conditions.

02

Train one skill

Choose a focused drill for start line, pace, distance control, or pressure instead of hitting a pile of unstructured putts.

03

Build your pattern

Keep a simple practice history so you can notice tendencies, repeat productive sessions, and arrive at the course prepared.

One app, two practice modes

Putting first. Swing Lab when you need it.

Your subscription should not stop at the edge of the green. Swing Lab brings tempo and visible repeatability into the same practice history without pretending a phone is a launch monitor.

01

Capture honestly

A guided face-on setup checks whether the phone, framing, and clip can support a result before showing measurements.

02

Practice in sets

Use a focused five-swing session to inspect tempo and repeatability instead of chasing a universal swing score.

03

Keep the line clear

Unsupported measurements stay unavailable. Ball speed, spin, and force require evidence the phone alone may not provide.

How it’s designed to work

Set up. Roll it. Learn.

The product is in development, so final screens and measurement features may change as we validate them indoors and on real greens.

  1. Place your phoneUse a stable view of your putting area with the ball and intended line visible.
  2. Choose your focusPick a guided drill for start line, speed, distance, or make-rate pressure.
  3. Hit your puttsPractice normally while PuttHunter captures the session for feedback.
  4. Review the patternUse the session to decide what to repeat and what to adjust next.

One putting game

Train at home. Test it on grass.

Indoor repetition and outdoor adaptation solve different parts of putting. PuttHunter is being developed for both because a stroke must travel from your mat to the course.

A golfer working on a putting stroke indoors

Indoor precision

Use a stable surface to rehearse setup, start line, and a repeatable motion without waiting for a tee time.

A golfer practicing distance control outdoors on a putting green

Outdoor feel

Take the same structure to changing slopes, speeds, light, and distances on a real practice green.

Built in the real world

Useful feedback beats impressive claims.

Putting measurement is hard—especially across different phones, grass types, lighting, slopes, and ball colors. We are validating the metrics and accuracy before publishing performance numbers.

A

Variable light

Bright greens, long shadows, and indoor rooms all challenge camera-based analysis differently.

B

Real surfaces

Practice mats offer consistency; grass introduces grain, slope, moisture, and changing green speed.

C

Actionable output

A metric only belongs in the app if golfers can understand it and use it to make practice better.

PuttHunter FAQ

What is PuttHunter?

PuttHunter is a phone-first golf practice app in development for iOS and Android. Putting is the primary experience, with a secondary Swing Lab for tempo and visible repeatability.

Can I use PuttHunter outside?

That is the goal. PuttHunter is being designed for both indoor practice surfaces and outdoor putting greens. Outdoor performance is part of the product validation process, not an afterthought.

Is PuttHunter available now?

Not publicly. PuttHunter is currently in development and is coming to iOS and Android. Email us for product updates; we will link to verified store listings when they exist.

Do I need special putting hardware?

The initial experience is being designed around a smartphone and your normal putting setup. Final device and setup requirements will be published after validation.

Does PuttHunter analyze full swings?

Swing Lab is being developed for confidence-gated face-on capture, tempo, and visible repeatability practice. It does not claim to measure every launch condition or replace a launch monitor.

How accurate is the analysis?

We are still validating measurement behavior across phones, lighting, surfaces, and environments. We will publish supported metrics and honest testing results when that work is complete.
