These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Putt Hunter LLC ("Putt Hunter," "we," "us," or "our"), which operates the PuttHunter brand and putthunter.com. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

Website scope

These Terms apply only to this public marketing and golf-education website. They do not govern a PuttHunter mobile app, account, paid subscription, purchase, beta program, research study, or footage submission. Those activities may require separate terms, notices, and affirmative agreement before they become available.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the website. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the website only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms for you. Do not use the website if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

Product status

PuttHunter is in development. Descriptions, interface concepts, planned features, device compatibility, technical requirements, pricing, and timing may change. Nothing on the website is a promise that a particular feature, product, patent, or release date exists or will become available. Any future app or service will be governed by the disclosures presented at launch.

Educational information and safety

Golf articles and drills provide general educational information. They are not individualized professional coaching, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a guarantee of performance. Golf and physical practice involve risks. Use judgment, practice in a safe area, inspect your surroundings and equipment, follow course and facility rules, and stop if an activity causes pain or feels unsafe.

Permission to use the website

Subject to these Terms, Putt Hunter grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to view and use the website for lawful personal and informational purposes. You may link to public pages if the link is accurate and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

Prohibited conduct

You may not interfere with or disrupt the website; bypass security or access restrictions; introduce malicious code; attempt unauthorized access; use automated means that unreasonably burden the site; impersonate another person; violate law or third-party rights; remove proprietary notices; or reproduce, scrape, sell, or republish a substantial part of the website except as law expressly permits.

Intellectual property

The website, including its original text, design, code, graphics, photographs, logos, and brand elements, is owned by Putt Hunter LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited permission above, these Terms grant no right, title, or interest. PuttHunter and associated names, logos, and trade dress may not be used as branding or in a way that suggests affiliation without prior written permission. No statement on the website grants a patent license or represents that a patent has issued or is pending.

Communications and feedback

Emailing us does not create a confidential, fiduciary, professional, or advisory relationship. Do not send confidential invention details, trade secrets, or other information you expect us to hold in confidence unless we have first signed a written confidentiality agreement. We may use ordinary comments or suggestions you voluntarily provide to improve PuttHunter, without an obligation to compensate you, but this does not give us ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property.

Third-party services

The website may link to email software or other third-party websites and services. They operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not necessarily mean Putt Hunter endorses or controls the third party, and we are not responsible for third-party content, security, or availability.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website and may restrict access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or protection against misuse. We do not promise that the website will always be available or unchanged.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” Putt Hunter disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain disclaimers, so those limitations may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Putt Hunter LLC and its members, personnel, affiliates, licensors, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from the website or these Terms. Their total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the website will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid Putt Hunter specifically to access this website during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for your unlawful misuse of the website and for violations of these Terms. To the extent permitted by law, you will reimburse Putt Hunter for third-party claims and reasonable costs caused by your intentional unlawful conduct, infringement of another person's rights, or malicious interference with the website.

Disputes and mandatory rights

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These Terms do not require arbitration, waive a class action, select a particular state or country's law, or prevent either party from seeking relief in a court that has lawful jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer rights and remedies remain available. A specific governing-law and venue clause may be added to future app or paid-service terms after the relevant contracting and launch details are finalized.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as the website develops. We will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date. Changes apply prospectively when posted unless law requires additional notice or consent. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the website.

General

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; Putt Hunter may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the website or relevant business. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the complete agreement concerning this website.
