Legal
Privacy policy
Effective date: August 12, 2026
Putt Hunter LLC ("Putt Hunter," "we," "us," or "our") operates the PuttHunter brand and the putthunter.com website. This policy explains how we handle personal information through this public website and direct communications with us.
Scope
This policy applies to putthunter.com and email or other direct communications about PuttHunter. The PuttHunter mobile application is still in development and is not publicly available. This policy does not yet cover app accounts, camera footage, motion analysis, payments, subscriptions, or production research participation. We will publish the disclosures and choices required for those activities before enabling them.
Information we collect
Information you provide. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to include. Please do not send sensitive personal information through ordinary email.
Technical information. When you visit the website, our hosting, content-delivery, and security providers may automatically process information needed to deliver and protect it, such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested page, referring page, date and time, and diagnostic or security logs. The website does not currently provide user accounts, purchases, or an embedded signup form.
Sources and purposes
We receive information directly from you and automatically from your browser or device through our infrastructure providers. We use it to deliver and secure the website, respond to messages, send updates you request, maintain business records, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, improve our public content, comply with law, and protect our rights and users. Where law requires a legal basis, these activities rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, steps taken at your request, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent where requested.
Cookies, analytics, and cross-site tracking
Putt Hunter does not currently deploy analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral advertising trackers, or other site code designed to track your activity over time across unaffiliated websites. The site does not intentionally set non-essential cookies. Infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary network or storage technologies to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site. See our Cookie Notice for more detail.
Because we do not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or conduct cross-site tracking, the website does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals or Global Privacy Control signals. No third party is authorized through our site code to collect personal information over time across unaffiliated sites for behavioral advertising. We will update these disclosures and implement legally required controls before changing those practices.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to providers that help us host and secure the website, deliver email, maintain our systems, or provide professional services. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues; protect rights, safety, or property; or complete a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of assets subject to appropriate protections. We do not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising.
Retention
We retain correspondence and technical records only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here. We consider the nature of the information, the ongoing relationship or request, security and troubleshooting needs, applicable limitation periods, and legal or recordkeeping obligations. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless law permits or requires longer retention.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to this pre-launch website. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may stop requested email updates by replying to the message or contacting us. Depending on where you live and whether a law applies to Putt Hunter, you may have rights concerning your personal information, such as access, correction, deletion, a copy, restriction, objection, consent withdrawal, or an appeal. You may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator. Send a request using the contact below. We may need to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority, and exceptions permitted by law may apply. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Children
The website is for a general golf audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through the website.
International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Privacy protections and government access rules may differ by country. Where applicable law requires it, we will use an approved transfer mechanism or another lawful basis for the transfer.
Third-party links
The website may link to third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as the website and product develop. We will post the revised policy here, update the effective date, and provide any additional notice required by law. We will update this policy before the public app processes categories of information not described here.
